Zena is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Zena has clinical experience in the areas of codependency, mood and anxiety disorders, family conflict, narcissistic abuse, gender dysphoria, career changes, childhood trauma, and suicidal ideations. Zena provides services to couples, adolescents, adults, and families. Zena utilizes Narrative and Jungian approaches. She is passionate about helping individuals take charge and become the sole authors of their experiences and story. Along with mindfulness and breath work, she explores many avenues in therapeutic interventions such as dream work and conversations about our cultures and spiritual practices in order to understand a client’s holistic needs.

My goal is to provide support and insight to my clients in order to amplify their intuition so they can feel secure in making decisions that best serve them. I hope to give a different perspective on what mental health counseling can be. Therapy is a relationship, and it is important to me that you feel seen, heard, and understood. I am empathetically direct, and I encourage my clients to express themselves in a way that feels authentic to them. Therapy works best when we work together.
