Registered Psychology Associate
Vashti is a Registered Psychology Associate who believes that healing happens through genuine connection. She strives to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are, without judgment, pressure, or the expectation to have everything figured out. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking to better understand yourself, Vashti believes meaningful change begins with feeling truly seen and supported.
She provides therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, executive functioning challenges, relationship difficulties, family conflict, identity exploration, stress, and life transitions. She especially enjoys helping clients better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and build on the resilience they already possess.
Vashti's approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual's unique needs. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), trauma-informed care, family systems theory, psychoeducation, and Gottman-informed strategies for couples, balancing insight with practical tools that clients can apply in their everyday lives. Her background in psychological assessment and structured clinical interviewing allows her to identify patterns, clarify concerns, and develop thoughtful, personalized treatment plans that support lasting growth.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Vashti brings a multicultural perspective and a deep appreciation for the unique experiences that shape every person's story. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University and her Bachelor of Arts in Social Development from the University of Waterloo with distinction. She is currently completing her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University.
