Meet Tayo Akinmuyisan, M.A., Master of Professional Psychology, and our esteemed Advanced Clinical Doctoral Intern, whose professional dedication and empathetic approach ensure exceptional care for our clients. As an Army combat veteran, Tayo brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to excellence to his practice.

Tayo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Haven and a Master of Arts in Professional Psychology from William James College. He is completing his PsyD degree, further solidifying his expertise to serve our clientele better.

With a focus on diversity and inclusion, Tayo is deeply committed to supporting individuals from all backgrounds and age groups, including teens, adults, older adults, and families, particularly those from underserved communities. His extensive experience equips him to provide specialized care for military personnel, veterans, and their families.

Tayo employs an integrative approach in therapy, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, developmental, and systems perspectives. His multifaceted identity as a Black man, combat veteran, military spouse, and immigrant enriches his clinical practice, enabling him to address a wide array of mental health challenges with nuance and expertise.
