Nina Ravick, LMSW, is a licensed Master of Social Work, providing a supportive and empathetic environment in order to empower individuals to lead happy, healthier lives. Nina completed her Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University in New York and has years of experience working with individuals from varied populations who have been impacted by trauma. Her past clinical work and focus has included facilitating grief/bereavement groups for those suffering loss, assisting women and families navigating adoption, as well as supporting victims of crime. She is passionate about helping people deal with trauma and issues of grief and loss, anxiety, depression, addiction, and shame.
Nina offers a non-judgmental, collaborative exploration where clients can tap into their own capacity to heal, accept, and love themselves and others. Nina adheres to the power in creating achievable goals in order to increase self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-empowerment. Her clients can expect to be both supported and challenged to heal and grow. Operating from a relational and systems perspective and believing strongly in the mind-body connection, Nina uses a person-centered, trauma-informed approach in supporting her clients, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Therapy practices. Individuals who work with Nina engage in personalized and effective interventions that address their unique challenges, while recognizing their distinct identities and strengths.
