Graduate Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern

Neda is a graduate clinical mental health counseling student completing her final year of internship. Through a multicultural lens, she is dedicated to assisting anyone seeking support. Neda takes a client- centered approach and utilizes various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, and other personal challenges.

Though Neda sees a variety of clients, she has a particular interest in working with women and adolescent girls. She is committed to creating a safe and empowering environment where clients can foster self-love and navigate areas of personal growth. She has undergone specialized training in domestic violence and previously completed an internship at an outreach center in Chicago, counseling survivors of domestic violence. Neda has received training in Gottman’s Couples Counseling, and recognizes the significance of healthy and fulfilling relationships.

Neda’s experience equips her with the skills to provide support to individuals seeking to heal and thrive in any of their relationships. Neda’s therapeutic style is characterized by compassion, empathy, and curiosity. She aims to provide a calm and nurturing environment where clients can safely explore and express their emotions, recognize
their value, and lean into positive change.
