Ericka Jennings, LGPC, NCC, brings over 18 years of experience supporting and educating children and families as a school teacher. Her deep passion for nurturing growth and resilience led her to pursue a career in counseling, where she continues to offer care and guidance. Ericka’s approach is rooted in compassion, warmth, and collaboration, creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, supported, and free from judgment. Her focus is on fostering healing, self-awareness, and personal growth.

Working with children, adolescents, and adults across various life stages, Ericka utilizes a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. Her natural ability to blend professionalism with a touch of humor helps her connect with clients, putting them at ease. Ericka is particularly passionate about helping individuals strengthen their relationships with themselves and others, guiding them in setting healthy boundaries, advocating for their needs, and building self-confidence.

With extensive experience addressing school-related challenges such as school refusal, social skills development, academic achievement, and executive functioning, Ericka offers tailored support to children and adolescents navigating these complex issues.

Additionally, she is dedicated to empowering adults during life transitions, such as managing work-life balance or career changes, helping them find personal and professional fulfillment.

Ericka earned her master’s degree in counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College in June 2024. She is also certified in Thanatology, the study of death and loss, enabling her to provide sensitive and knowledgeable support to those dealing with grief. In addition, she maintains her teaching licenses in both Pennsylvania and Maryland.
