EmpowerKids: Life And Social Skills for Ages 9-11

Children are exposed to various stressors and challenges in the rapidly changing world. Learning to cope with these challenges from a young age is crucial. EmpowerKids aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children ages 9-11 can learn essential social and life skills. This group will focus on stress management, self-awareness, empathy, effective communication, resilience, and problem-solving skills. Ericka Jennings, Clinical Mental Health Intern at Washington Psychological Wellness, will lead the sessions. This 8-week closed group combines psycho-educational and therapeutic approaches and is scheduled to meet every Saturday from 10:00am-11:30am at Washington Psychological Wellness. The first session will commence on November 11th and conclude on January 20th, with no session on November 25th, December 23rd or 30th.

Each session is priced at $25 and is eligible for coverage by BCBS insurance.
