Registered Psychology Associate

“I know reaching out can take courage. My hope is that you feel heard, accepted, and comfortable being yourself from the start.”

ABOUT Chandler Zincke-Byer

Chandler welcomes clients of all ages, couples, and families into a warm, collaborative space. Having experienced therapy himself, he understands that reaching out can feel vulnerable. He hopes to help clients feel at ease, speak openly, and bring their full selves into the room.

His Brooklyn roots and Caribbean family background inform his multicultural perspective and appreciation for the experiences that shape each person. He takes time to understand clients’ concerns, strengths, and goals, helping them feel heard as they find their way forward.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Chandler is a Maryland Registered Psychology Associate with a background in therapy, psychological assessment, and connecting individuals with support. His experience in clinical and community settings has shaped an approach that considers both what clients are feeling and what they are navigating in everyday life.

Through his work with underserved communities, Chandler has helped individuals access mental health referrals, housing resources, and other essential services. He understands that emotional well-being is closely connected to relationships, culture, stability, and a sense of belonging.

He brings this perspective into therapy with curiosity and care, taking time to understand the person behind the concern. Chandler works collaboratively with clients to make sense of their experiences and identify practical, meaningful steps toward their goals.

CLINICAL FOCUS

Chandler supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship concerns, stress, identity exploration, and life transitions. He draws from person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and multicultural approaches.

He helps clients make sense of their experiences, recognize their strengths, and develop practical tools for everyday challenges. In his work with couples and families, he brings the same collaborative approach to understanding shared concerns and strengthening communication and connection.
