Amelia welcomes adults across identities and backgrounds into a compassionate space, with room for humor along the way. Her approach is direct yet gentle, helping clients feel comfortable being themselves while exploring the changes they want to make.

She believes each person is the expert on their own experience. Together, Amelia and her clients build on their strengths and work toward goals that feel meaningful to them.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Amelia brings over 10 years of clinical experience, including community-based individual and family therapy. Her background also includes supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, providing school-based therapy, and working with individuals experiencing homelessness and financial hardship. She has collaborated with prescribers, schools, and community providers to coordinate support for clients.

These experiences inform her attention to each client’s identity, relationships, and circumstances. She has worked with people across varied racial, cultural, religious, gender, and sexual identities and values understanding each person’s unique perspective.

CLINICAL FOCUS

Amelia supports adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, and life transitions. She helps clients develop self-awareness, healthy boundaries, and practical coping skills.

She draws from CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and IFS-informed and DBT-informed techniques. Her work balances thoughtful exploration with tools clients can use in everyday life, tailored to their strengths, needs, and preferences.
