She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College, concurrently earning a certificate in Trauma, Crisis, Grief, and Loss. Prior to her academic pursuits at Hood College, Aryana held a position as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), specializing in supporting children with autism and accumulating extensive experience in ABA and play therapy.

Aryana’s therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that therapy should provide individuals with a safe environment to explore themselves and their perspectives while working towards their goals. She emphasizes the importance of confronting difficult emotions and understanding their origins as catalysts for change. Aryana’s professional interests span Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, Mindfulness-Based Techniques (MBT), and Person-Centered Therapy, though she employs an integrative method to tailor her approach to each client’s unique needs.

Eager to embark on this professional journey, Aryana looks forward to further growth within the field. Recognizing the inherent challenge in vulnerability, she views it as an opportunity for profound growth and transformation. Aryana’s aspiration is to empower her clients to advocate for themselves, challenge negative beliefs, and develop adaptive skills that foster personal and interpersonal growth.
