Aryana Nikpora is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Washington Psychological Wellness. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College, where she also completed a specialized certificate in Trauma, Crisis, Grief, and Loss. Prior to her graduate studies, Aryana worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supporting children with autism and gaining valuable experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and play therapy.
Aryana’s therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that therapy should offer a safe and nonjudgmental space for individuals to explore their experiences, emotions, and goals. She emphasizes the transformative power of understanding and confronting difficult emotions, believing that self-awareness is key to meaningful change. Her clinical interests include Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, Mindfulness-Based Techniques (MBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. She integrates these modalities to create a personalized and collaborative approach tailored to each client’s unique needs.
