At Washington Psychological Wellness, we understand the unique pressures facing young adults today. That’s why we’re offering a free virtual support group designed specifically for individuals 18 years and older who are seeking connection, guidance, and practical coping tools rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) principles.

This safe, judgment-free space allows you to share experiences, learn valuable emotional regulation strategies, and develop the confidence to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and strength.

What You’ll Gain from the Group

Over seven weeks, you’ll engage in meaningful discussions and learn real-world coping techniques designed to help you manage stress, improve relationships, and build emotional resilience. Each session focuses on a practical DBT-based topic led by our compassionate and experienced mental health professionals.

Weekly Topics & DBT Skill-Building Include:

  • Stress Management Strategies: Learn to calm your mind and body when life feels overwhelming.

  • Creating Healthy Boundaries: Develop the confidence to say “no” and protect your emotional well-being.

  • Coping with Anxiety and Uncertainty: Discover tools to manage worry and stay grounded in the present.

  • Navigating Change and Transition: Adjust to new environments, career paths, or life stages with greater ease.

  • Overcoming Perfectionism and Self-Doubt: Replace harsh self-criticism with self-compassion and balance.

  • Cultivating Positivity and Gratitude: Build a more hopeful mindset through daily mindfulness practices.

  • Building Supportive Relationships: Strengthen communication skills and create meaningful connections.

  • Finding Meaning and Pursuing Happiness: Explore what truly matters to you and create a path toward fulfillment.
